Some Projects of the Centre




Among the projects which the Centre intends to pursue are:

· Research – developing proposals and projects with students and scholars around the world


· Publications – from academic journals to translation and educational work. Forth coming book: Robert Morrison by Dr Christpher Hancock


· Scholarships – for sabbaticals, research projects and summer schools (see picture below)


· Summer Schools – for graduate and postdoctoral students from the PRC, led by distinguished academics from around the world


· Seminars – fortnightly seminars during Oxford terms on aspects of Sino-Christian studies


· Public Lectures – on themes of public interest relating to Christianity in China


· Academic Colloquia – e.g. on Christianity and early Chinese philosophy; Reading Scripture in China and Europe; Perspectives on Science and Religion
